First snow of the season this morning. Should I ride or should I drive? My answer is above. Rode in. My only complaint was because it was actively snowing my face got wet and cold. I smeared Vaseline on my nose and cheeks before I left, which helped some. Maybe I needed to more liberally apply. Only about 1/2 inch or less on the ground this morning. Could be 3 inches going home.
I thought about taking a picture on the Virginia side of the river along the bike trail, but didn't want to stop (the wind was blowing a wet snow pretty hard), so I opted for the DC "monument" photo. That's the Lincoln Memorial, in case you're not sure.
You know, these pictures would be so much prettier without the bike in them.

The bike is the point. And this is such a pretty red and black bike, with the snow on the tires. Considering I couldn't see very well with the phone camera and my foggy glasses, I'm surprised I framed the shot as well as I did.

It's as if your bike has morphed into Flat Stanley, lately! Where in the world has Scott's bike been? haha The bike is now its own character!
